I had never been to New York in my life. Crazy, right?

As I’m sure all of you know, REVOLVE took over (and I mean fucking TOOK OVER) The Hamptons to host 28 events in 22 days. I had the pleasure of staying in New York for the biggest activation of the year for the full 30 days of July.

I really can’t explain every highlight that happened, because this would be an never ending paragraph of debauchery & unbelievable stories that took place. I’ll say I came home 5 pounds heavier (due to many blogger brunches lol and lack of working out), 2 tattoo’s by my new favorite person JonBoy, and 4 rolls of film.

I was able to meet some of my best friends and reconnected with old friends in NYC throughout the month. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I met some amazing people that I’ll never forget.

I love my REVOLVE family. These girls are the hardest working bishes in the game, watch out!

As another birthday fast approaches (May 18th) I will be another year older and wiser. 27 was a good year. I learned so much about myself and I’m blessed with all the opportunities that were given to me.

When you’re a kid, you imagine adulthood differently.  I thought I would be married, own a house and have a thriving successful career. That’s definitely not the case but nonetheless I am so excited for what this next year of my life has to bring.

I’ll leave you with the last stills of year 27, and damn it was a good year.

Film Diaries x Jeffrey Tang

I met Jeffrey A Tang at a DTLA party. Everyone pretty much looked the same except for him. I remember his thick rolled socks and his small-rimmed glasses. He was probably the coolest guy at that party.

For one, he shoots film and I respect people who shoot strictly on film camera’s. Secondly, he has a dope ass girlfriend, Moniqa who is my cosmic soulmate (taurus for life).

This duo had such a dynamic vibe while shooting me at my eclectic home in Costa Mesa. I really love meeting and vibing with other creatives. It’s where true collaborations happen and these photos are a testament.

Moniqa brought over her thrifted 90’s statement pieces and Jeff rummaged through my closet to style an oddly paired but spectacular outfit. I was impressed with his styling skills to say the least.

We played Brandy throwbacks and blasted through 2 rolls of film. I hope you guys like the photos <3

… and I’m back!

But I never really left.. I just took an entrepreneurial break from blogging. If you know me well, you know I had a Dear Diary kinda blog. It was raw, unfiltered & sometimes shockingly honest. This was, of course, before blogging became a cash cow and less about your words. Naturally, everything great becomes monetized.

As blogger’s continue to write less and sell more, I promise to keep my entries unadulterated, pure, and 100% honest (even if it’s not agreeable :p). Here I’ll be posting my life adventures, travels, and some of my favorite outfits/swimwear – with a little of fitness.

June 2015, I purchased an Olympus film camera so I could take film photos at my best friend Samuel’s Dirty 30 in Napa. I remembered how rewarding it was to develop film. Here are some favorites from 2015 + 2016. I promised my camera I would take it everywhere that I went. So please enjoy! There’s so (so so so) much more to come… Stay tuned!
